As many of you know, next year will mark the 25th anniversary of the Beaver Scout section’s affirmation as an official part of The Scout Association.
Having begun in Northern Ireland in the 1960s and slowly spread across the UK, the section was introduced with a uniform in 1982. To complete the process a simple Promise was established in 1986.
To celebrate this anniversary, a badge has been designed and will be available early in 2011. This badge can be worn on the left hand side of the uniform, above the World Membership Badge and can be worn until the end of 2011.
