Yr Hafod

Welsh Scout Council's Mountain Activity Centre

Yr Hafod is a special place, run by Scouts, for Scouts, to enjoy the challenges of the mountains to the full, with the security of competent leadership and the provision of quality accommodation.

The Welsh Scout Council opened Yr Hafod in the Ogwen valley in Snowdonia National Park to provide accommodation and training for Scouts involved in mountain activities back in 1959. It has been operating ever since.
